1. I’ve heard we’re “implementing Oracle Cloud HCM.” What does that really mean?


Oracle Cloud HCM is a comprehensive suite of cloud services that helps organizations improve HR business processes by providing single source of truth. Implementing Oracle Cloud HCM means that we’ll be getting rid of our current HRIS i.e., the HR and related portions of the Lawson system. Oracle Cloud HCM will be the new system employees use to complete common HR tasks, such as: Entering Timecards & Scheduling Time Off, Accessing Personal Information & Payment Methods, and more!.


2When will Oracle Cloud HCM be available for Employees?


Oracle Cloud HCM – Phase 1 was launched successfully on December 19, 2022.


3. What is included in the Oracle Cloud HCM implementation?


Phase 1 - Core HCM (Go-Live:  12/19/2022)

Core HR

Time & Absences

Compensation & Payroll

Benefits & Pension 


4. Will there be training before Oracle Cloud HCM launches?


Yes. We have already had a training for the Line Managers and Executive Assistants for Oracle Cloud HCM and will be sending out more information soon. You may see the Training recording by clicking here.


5. In addition to the live demos, will there be a user manual or written instructions?


Yes. You may find useful guides right here on Freshdesk.


6. Do we need to redo tax options/ direct deposit details, or will it automatically transfer to Oracle HCM?

 

Tax options, payroll details for staff has been transferred over to Oracle HCM. You must log in and verify if all the information is correct. If changes are needed please make the changes on your own.

 

7. Will CHA declared Holidays be pre-populated in Oracle Time & Absences?


Yes.


8. Can Oracle HCM be accessed remotely and internationally?


Yes. Oracle HCM at CHA is accessible within the USA. CHA SSO will be used for logging to Oracle HCM. If you are not already signed in, you will get the familiar Microsoft Login.


For access to CHA systems while traveling OUTSIDE of the USA, Please contact IT by submitting a Freshdesk ticket to include the date range of travel and the specific country or countries in which access is being requested.



9. Does Oracle HCM trigger email notifications in case of any updates to the details?


Yes.


10. Are sick days going to be allocated on accrual basis in Oracle HCM?


Yes.
